As a volunteer at the 36th FAI World Gliding Championships Stendal 2020 you will become a part of a unique community that will create a world-class event. The city and the venue and will be decked out and ready to celebrate. The WGC2020 is our opportunity to spread the joy, passion and sense of community that the world of gliding offers to a wider audience and visitors from all over the world.
Approximately 90 pilots and their teams from around the world will come to Stendal-Borstel to compete to become the World Gliding Champions in 3 classes. Additionally we expect more than 500 guests to take part.
That is why we need volunteers of all ages and with all kinds of skills. Whether you are familiar with the world of gliding or have never seen a glider, we need your help. The essential thing is that you are energetic and want to make the WGC2020 a world-class event.
