The Airfield (EDOV)

Stendal-Borstel Airfield (EDOV) has a long history. After it was built in 1934, it was used by military for 60 years (German and Soviet Air Force).

Since 1992, it is exclusively in civilian use, now being operated by a public company – the Flugplatz-Gesellschaft mbH.

The also residential AERO-Club Stendal was found in 1992 and practices gliding, ultralight and small motorplanes with now 120 members.
