
The 36. FAI World Gliding Championships Stendal 2020 will be one great sports event. Glider pilots from all over the world will be competing in three different classes: Open Class, Double-Seater Class and 18m Class.
The city of Stendal is excited and welcomes all pilots and their teams, guests, volunteers and air sport enthusiasts.
The event takes place at the Stendal-Borstel Airflield, at a historical place.
The 36. FAI World Gliding Championships Stendal 2020 is held from July 19th to July 31st and it will be one of the great sports events in Saxony-Anhalt – just a few miles away from Stölln-Rhinow, the place where Otto Lilienthal made the first glider flights in the history of mankind.
